All Rules are subject to change at any time. It is the Admins duty to enforce the rules.
Players are expected to know the rules. Not knowing the rules can result in banishment from the server.
Admins may dole out justice, moderate, and deal with issues as they see fit. If they believe you’re not a good fit for the server, they reserve the right to ban or kick you. Admin abuse is taken seriously, and other admins may be subject to review themselves in the same way as players
If you believe you have been banned or otherwise punished please use the form on the right of the page to submit your plea.
Building
1. Players must take structural integrity into account when building. This means buildings need supports if built into the air. This also includes sieging platforms, and anything else player created. Water Structures need supports as well, even if built with wood (unless you build a boat.)
2. No building on the Kings Island. No throne, or stairwell blocking. No blocking the king's tree chests
RP Rules
1. You must Role-play (RP). If you don’t you will receive a warning. On the second warning you will be kicked from the server. 3rd Warning = 1 Day ban. Subsequent warnings will result in you potentially being permanently banned from the server.
2. VOIP (Voice Over IP/Voice Chat) is not required, but will make the RP aspect of this server more fun, and help you avoid getting in trouble for not responding quickly to player queries, and issues that might arise. We recommend you use your mic.
3. Player names should be “RP” meaning, something role-play. Your steam name, or a gaming handle is not valid.
4. If you join the Admin TeamSpeak server, and use it, you should at least have your character name in Parenthesis.
5. If you need to speak out of character you must use OOC (Out of Character). You don’t have to speak in character in TeamSpeak, or in your own voice comms.
Attacking Other Players
1. Attacking anyone for any reason, must have valid RP. Failure to adhere to this will result in a kick from the server. On your second offense of this issue you will be banned.
2. Invalid reasons for attacking someone include: Insulting them using derogatory terms (Faggot, Fuckface, etc.). This is no longer accepted as being RP. "I'm a murderer" is no longer valid since it's not necessary. There’s literally countless valid reasons to attack someone, and it’s up to you and your creativity to find these reasons.
3. Telling people to "press G" or I’ll attack" is not valid. You must try to talk to them. In general, asking people to press “G” for any reason is poor RP. Look for other ways to identify players, or speak to them.
4. NO KOS (kill on sight). Please see the siege section for the one time you can KOS.
5. The King's Island and the Bridge are PVP areas. Anyone may attack anyone else for any or not any reason.
6. Sleepers may not be killed unless you siege a base or someone battle logs. (Battle logging is when someone logs out after RP leads to fighting)
Lasso / Roping Rules
1. Because roping someone is hard enough as it is, you don't have to RP before roping. However if you intend on killing someone, or someone you're with or hired you to bring someone to them to kill them you must tell them before roping. It's an unfair loophole otherwise. Killing someone using the rope, like throwing them off the bridge counts as killing them yourself. If they die in the process, such as bringing them to someone else's base, your base, or killing them naturally (falling, water, fire, and torture) you must tell them. These rules may end up being modified if roping becomes useless.
Sieging Rules
1. The "Flax Field" is an OPEN sieging area. Meaning, if you build there you can be sieged without them announcing. All other sieging rules apply below, except ANNOUNCE. This does not mean you can KOS anyone in the flax field.
2. Sieges are recommended since sky block / base jumping is not allowed. We're trying to encourage larger scale PVP battles for bases.
3. You must ANNOUNCE your siege. You must tell the guild who you're sieging that you're sieging them. Guilds do not need to “ACCEPT” your siege.
4. You MUST check to see if the group is online. Raiding while offline is invalid. If you disagree, this is not your server. This means either VOIP asking, text asking, or using /list. The group does not need to be AT their base in order for you to attack.
5. If you log off DURING a siege, your base may still be fully sieged, etc. Unfortunately, this is the fairest way to go about this.
6. You can only destroy someone’s crest if you plan on taking their base as your own.
7. You may not remove blocks from someone else’s base after you’ve crested it.
8. Siege is valid until a treaty is met, or until server reboot (4 Hours).
9. Sleepers may be killed during a siege.
Thieving Rules
1. Thieving can only be done at night.
2. Thieving is classified as Lock picking doors, robbing people (not during a siege) anywhere on the map.
3. Sieging ANNOUNCEMENT is not required as thieving is not sieging.
4. Sleepers may not be killed if you rob a house.
King Rules
1. King may build on the tip of the bridge.
2. Walls may only be built 3 layers thick.
3. Kings may set bounties and request assistance from anyone in the server.
4. King's throne may only be taken by killing the current king, or if the king is currently dead.
5. If the current King logs off, anyone can claim the throne.
6. If the King attacks anyone under King’s orders for any valid RP reason, one could retaliate by attacking the King’s guild’s base via Siege. This still needs to be announced. In other words, the base of the King is valid to attack if you have a valid reason to attack it. You don’t only have to attack the throne.
Arena Rules
1. The arena is an open area, and can be used to settle disputes, practice or for tournaments. This area is not raidable (not that you’d want to, there’s nothing of value there).
Server Wipes
1. Events and Game Wipes will be voted by players.
2. Server wipes will be every 7 days, or depending on the lag on the server. These wipes will be voted on by the community, but can also be left up to admin discretion.
3. Starter packs are given out to players post wipe. Please see the starter pack section to get an idea for what you'll receive.
What to Do If Someone Breaks the Rules
1. Take a screenshot, video or any other proof of the incident.
2. Log into TeamSpeak and find an Admin and discuss the incident with them.
3. Once resolved, items will be returned, or the issue will be dealt with.
What to Do If You’ve Been Banned
1. Log into TeamSpeak and find an Admin and discuss the incident with them.
2. Depending on the ruling you may be unbanned after the situation has been discussed but don’t count on it.
